Hack and slash. Hack and slash! We know some of you have been chanting up a storm hoping for another hack and slash RPG. And while you can get some form of satiation from 2D slashers like the recently released Sacred or still through the nearly four year old Diablo II, they don't exactly stand up to some of the 3D engines of today. In fact, it's been a while since we've had a decent 3D hack and slash game on the PC. One of the last good ones to me was Blade of Darkness, released back in 2001. There have been others, but nothing that really captures the right RPG elements while also keeping combat fresh and exciting. Well D.W. Bradley, best known for efforts on the Wizardy series, is hoping to get action RPGers up and excited about the genre again.
