You've probably never heard of Perpetual Entertainment, a developer whose first game is an MMO called Gods and Heroes. You might not have heard of Stieg Hedlund, the designer of the game. But it's a safe assumption that you have heard of Diablo II, another game that Hedlund designed. "Really, he's the inventor of the modern character progression," says Perpetual founder Chris McKibbin.
