We are proud to announce that we are now hosting the official forum for Runesword 2. If you are not familiar with this upcoming CRPG/CRPG construction kit, this is what co-designer Adam West has to say about it:

In the pen and paper games, RuneSword II has both its influences and its feel. You'll find the standard Strength, Agility, and Intelligence ability scores, but you'll also find vices like Greed, Lust, Lunacy, and more. There's turn-based combat that emphasizes strategic fun over endlessly clicking the hordes to death. There's an epic sweep to the background story, but characters are caught up in regional events, discussing strange occurences with the locals. There are puzzles to challenge you, with multiple solutions and hints in certain places.

The original RuneSword was in development for 3 years, and debuted as charityware in 1999. Despite zero publicity from non-existent marketing, RuneSword caught fire on download charts around the world. It's open-endedness, ease of use, and genuine recreation of pen and paper fun has earned RuneSword a loyal following. These followers add additional content every day.

Crosscut Games has put the finishing touches on a brand new version that extends the scope of a great game experience. Practically everything has been added to, enhanced, or revamped to be a fantastic role-playing experience.

We invite you to join/start the discussions there.
