PlanetSacred: What's the meaning of SACRED?

Aarne: It does mean just that - "Sacred". It fits pretty well to the background story of the Seraphim but except for that...

Michael: ...we'll only tell you that much: SACRED is a meaningful term regarding the story. The story does not only deal with demons but also with something "Sacred" and "Meaningful". The fate of Ancaria is closely tied to the fate of the Seraphim (we're talking about the race, not the player character here). The Seraphim have left their traces all over the world... for the last 40.000 years.

PlanetSacred: Why did you call it SACRED? How did the idea for the title come about?

Aarne: Many, many people were trying hard to come up with a name for the game... until one of our programmers, Steve Manekeller, said "Let's call it "Sacred"...". Not everyone liked the title but we decided to keep it as a "working title"... until we eventually got used to it and now everybody thinks it's great. Hope you share our opinion...

Michael: It was real funny when we realized that the title does actually fit to the story we're trying to tell. It is a nice, easily remembered title that's also going to work internationally because SACRED preserves the tradition of story-telling and gameplay of the Western world.

PlanetSacred: Are you planning on offering any goodies for download after Sacred's release (like weapons, quests, special events etc.)?

Aarne: At least, it's planned. Well, I have already commented on the special events above but we're definitely planning on... ah, I'm always revealing too much...

Michael:
