The massively multiplayer game scene is getting more and more crowded every day, it seems. We hear about a new fantasy MMORPG or more developments on another sci-fi MMORPG already in the works and so on. That’s why we have been very anxious to get our hands on City of Heroes, the long awaited MMORPG that isn’t set in fantasy or sci-fi land or even the “real world” of games like The Sims Online but rather in the four color world of super heroes. Developer Cryptic Studios and publisher NCSoft have been working on the game for quite some time but now the teams are in the home stretch and beta testing has begun in earnest. HomeLAN recently got a chance to play the game for ourselves and based on just a few hours of play we think this game could exceed even our highest expectations.
