A really good Dungeonmaster clone that didn't have quite so touch puzzles, but better (more colourful) graphics, simpler (but in my opinion more fun) dungeons and very satisfying equipment. Even though it took place in only one dungeon, it took a while to complete all 12 (if I remember correctly) levels since every level was like a small RPG of its own, with new puzzles, monsters, graphics and equipment.

Unfortunately, they don't make these fine dungeon puzzle games anymore :(

A fun dungeon crawl. I remember getting very lost all the time without an automap, unfortunately, and this combined with the sometimes hard puzzles to be quite frustrating. This was offset by the fact that the rest of the game was a load of fun.

No fed-ex quest, addictive combat and much more difficult than today children games. A must have!!!

Red! has rated 8/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Red!)

The original of the EoB series. I really liked this game and played it many timnes thorugh. It's puzzles were a bit annoying but not as bad as the sequels'.

Shyguy has rated 8/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Shyguy)

This is one of my favorite games of the late 80's. A simple, yet absorbing dungeon crawl, surpassed only by Ultima Underworld.

Kheltys has rated 8/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Kheltys)

This game was fully engrossing, and challenging. The story line was very small and simple, yet the puzzles and levels I thought were hooking. When comparing it to other games of the time and genre like Homeworld and such, I would have to give this game an 8.

The first RPG I've ever played ... and I'm still playing RPG games ...

Superb game... great graphics and a ominious atmosphere... iwas really freaked out in the dwarven catacombs... poisoned with no antidote...

Ultima Underworld left this one in the dust. Fun game though.

Sentinel69 has rated 10/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Sentinel69)

Fantastic game, allthough the end did really suck...some text and then *poof* and buh bye. But what happened with the good first person rpg.I hate rpg's with puppets on a string....

Beathawk has rated 9/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Beathawk)

classic

Brown has rated 7/10 points (Click here to see more Reviews from Brown)

Very good dungeon crawl for its time. One of the first games I remember to allow you to actually clear a level, adding to the realism. (Also, respawning monsters piss me off.)
