The Neverwinter Vault has put up a review of 'Aiar A0 - Youth', a fan-made module for BioWare's 'Neverwinter Nights'. Rating: 7.5 out of 10 points.
"A0 Youth" is the first in a series of modules for a single player that revolves around the experiences of a rogue-class character. Starting out at 1st level, after an odd dream sequence where two animals, a bird and wolf foreshadow coming events, you awake in an orphanage and are treated rather nastily there. The life of a thief is more thrust upon you than a vocation of your own choosing. As it turns out, this may be more destiny laying its hand on you than pure random circumstance. Similar to BioWare’s Witch’s Wake as the module proceeds, the PC gets experience only by progressing through the storyline. For those of you who didn’t like this process, this module is not for you. Stay clear! I personally liked it. It’s refreshing and it is also fundamental for the builder to control the progress of the PC. This module opens up with a well done cutscene that sets a tone of mystery for not only this module but for the entire series. This shows some forethought into the design and the story the builder has planned.
