This week's developer blog focuses on the issue of multiplayer and bug testing. It is penned by QA guy, Chris McCarthy. Titan Quest has a scaling multiplayer system; that is, with more players comes more monsters and the difficulty level gets turned up. We were only playing with three total Skill Masteries last week, but there were still a plethora of skills being fired off all the time. What happens when you have three players? Four? Six? The class and mastery combinations are endless, and fun to think about. Many skills are shared by allies, so the “Earth Enchantment” skill that adds fire damage to your attacks in single player mode will be shared with all allies around you in multiplayer. In the case of our duo of rogue characters, “Blade Honing” is a skill that passively increases piercing damage and is shared with allies – Dave had no points in it, but he got full use out of it when we fought next to one another! Read it here. | Source: TQ Vault |
