MGON has done a preview of Freedom Force, Irrational Games' tactical RPG about super heroes. A nice one, I have to say. Here's the routine snip:

While the game’s single player game will provide players with hours of entertainment, Freedom Force does not ignore multiplayer, a feature the success of many games are growing more and more dependent on. During a multiplayer skirmish, players can control both heroic and villainous characters. Game modes include free-for-all deathmatches, as well as team deathmatches. Other modes may involve team hostage rescues, or possibly a cooperative game in which players may tackle the single player campaign together. Multiplayer matches are kept balanced through the game’s character points system. Before a skirmish begins, the host player sets a team point limit. Each player’s team of heroes may not exceed this limit.
