Here's an excerpt: Ion Storm will be utilizing everything in their power to make the game as immersive as possible. The aesthetic shows off a great cyberpunk sense of style, much like the worlds created by Philip K. Dick and William Gibson, and the engine is utilizing some truly great effects such as dynamic shadowing that can help those trying a stealth style of gameplay, and a new physics engine that allows pretty much everything in the environment to be interacted with. The folks at Ion Storm are saying that everything serves a greater purpose in the game, although what that purpose is with the minute physics detail remains to be seen.
