The official website of Mimesis Online, the MMORPG in development by Polish developer Tannhauser Gate, has seen some updates recently. The first is on the delay of the beta test
The decision has been taken to postpone the start of the Beta Test phase of the game. The tests, due to start at the end of May, will now commence at the end of July. Beta tester selection will take place in the latter half of July; the game tests will begin after that. There were two reasons for this. We feel it is important for the Beta version to be as complete a version of the game as possible - it should include such things as the full PvP system, the full range of grouping possibilities, and so on. To provide our testers with the full range of material, we think it is worth taking the extra time to complete alpha testing on these aspects of the game. The second reason is far more prosaic - in the last months, the team has grown to the extent that we have had to move to larger premises, thus causing small delays in our production schedule.
We apologize for any disappointment this may cause, and want to assure you that the large and complex Beta version that comes out will be worth the extra month's wait.
The official Mimesis Online FAQ has just been updated. The question categories has been changed, much more answered questions included, a lot of previous answers modified and extended.
And last but not least an interview has been conducted with the team by the Polish gaimg site Strefa. As my Polish is not so good I have not included a snippet from it now.
