Planet DungeonSiege has an interview with Lee Phemister, 3D Artist, over at GPG, about his job and the game. Dig this:

PDS: How did you end up at GPG? Did you just fill out an application or did you beg and plead and threaten personal bodily harm if not hired?

    Lee :
The quick version is... I met Chris at a Sputnik meeting and had already been talking with Joe about art positions at Gas Powered. I came in with my Reel and resume and Chris decided to give me a shot.

PDS: What is your current project you are working on?

    Lee :
Well... We are in the final stretch so we are in polish mode. Right now I'm touching up the Fonts for the UI. But, when those are done I'm going to touch up some animations, sweeten up some textures, and give some love to all our beasties (but not in that way!).
