Iritor Online Interview

massivemultiplayer.org has posted an interview with Roman Kremlicka, one of the founders of Wootsoft, the company behind Iritor Online:
I'm going to start with the obvious questions first: Iritor Online, being a science fiction based MMOG, has to consider the upcoming release of Star Wars: Galaxies as nothing less than ominous. How does Wootsoft plan to handle the rough seas ahead? What does Iritor offer that a title like Star Wars: Galaxies won't be able to offer?

We offer next generation 3D graphics, a very action orientated combat system and our game wont have the EQ feel to it. We also think that SWG is tailored very much to the casual gamer while we are mainly trying to get both the players of current MMORPGs as well as the fans of multi player action games to play our game. We actually appreciate SWG because we believe that it will broaden the market for the whole genre, getting it out of the “EverCrack” geek corner. We also don’t think that the science fiction MMORPG market is exactly crowded with one major title out on the market, when the shooter market thrives with a few hundred published titles.
