Good developers never die, they just move on and start their own companies. Take, for instance, Brad McQuaid and Jeff Butler -- two former members of the Verant/Sony Online Entertainment team responsible for EverQuest. In late 2001/early 2002, Brad and Jeff, along with a few other members of the original EverQuest team, broke out on their own and created Sigil Games Online. As the name implies, Sigil Games Online's main focus is to create and develop massively multiplayer online games.
