If you can read German, you'll be quite happy with what you'll see over at Gamesweb - an in-depth article based on a preview version of Gothic II plus 22 new screenshots. Their conclusion: Gamers who loved Gothic will idolize Gothic II. The game has everything to offer the predecessor did - a great story, very good AI, motivating fights and much more. Improved controls and interface are definite advantages, as well as the sheer number of interaction possibilities and the freedom of action - once again you'll forget that it's just a game.
