GamePower Australia has a report about the Aussie launch party of Dungeon Siege, with some photos of that event. Here's a bit:
Chris later talked in depth about the game and it’s features (of which there are far too many to ever cram into a half-an-hour demonstration) and also discussed the multiplayer features. Most significantly, he explained that you and seven other gamers can live an entirely new world, as two different planets have been created – one for multiplayer and one for the single player game.

We talked to Chris for a time about the game and his goals, and interestingly discussed a console port. He hinted that the Xbox may well be the console of choice for a Dungeon Siege conversion later in the year – though while a conversion was hinted at, nothing was confirmed.
