Gamespy has no holiday season (nor have we), they have a preview of Disciples 2 - Dark Prophecy instead. Nothing groundbreaking new in there, but well worth a look nevertheless. Here's something from this article:
The castle and town improvement is standard stuff. You must build this building to get that unit, etc. All buildings need not be built. Each unit in your army has two paths that it may follow as its experience allows leveling. Which path it follows is decided by your construction decisions. It's straightforward, yet nonetheless interesting.
So far, the entire game looks pretty interesting. Improved graphics, artificial intelligence, and a strong game system could make Disciples II one of the strategy games to watch in 2002. |
