Lionheart Item Feature 7
2003-06-03
Lionheart is a computer role playing game that is being developed by Reflexive Entertainment in conjunction with Black Isle Studios. The game is an original title which uses an updated version of the SPECIAL character development system (from Fallouts 1 and 2) in a quasi-historical medieval Europe. Lionheart diverges from traditional high fantasy by placing the player on Earth in the 16th century in which history has taken a different path and magic has been released upon the world. Using a mix of historical and fictional locations and characters, the player progresses through a deep story while advancing through the classless character system.
In this new series of articles, designers of the game will introduce several items from the game

Plate Mail of Crippling and Titan Bones
+30 AC, +8 Crushing and Slashing Resist, +1 Crushing and Slashing Threshold, +10 Piercing Resist, -10 Electrical Resist, -15 Sneak Skill, Walking speed -10%, -10 to Evasion Skill. Because this armor is infused with the spirit of a slain titan, the wearer of this remarkable armor is granted a +2 Strength bonus. Other enchantments allow the wearer to deliver critical hits 10 percent more often. (Developer's Note: The exact amount of Strength bonus and Critical Chance bonus is determined by the power of the individual when found. Exact game numbers will vary, depending upon how powerful the character was when the item was discovered. Also, there can be 1-3 magic additions put onto most magical armor. This one has two.) |

Belt of Voodoo
Imported from the dark continents of the Americas, this belt has a sickly-sweet smell about it that cannot be removed. While worn, this belt enhances all Tribal spell skills by 1 point. When it is combined with the Necklace of Voodoo, the wearer obtains one more skill point to spend per level up. (Developer's Note: There can be 1-3 magic additions put onto most magical items, such as belts, necklaces, boots, etc. This one only has one.) |
