The latest FFv3R review comes courtesy of Digital Entertainment News, with a score of 8.8/10:
Above all, Freedom Force was a love letter to the world of comic books. Sporting a game design that pays tribute to one of the greatest comic book artists of all time, Jack Kirby, who along with Stan Lee created the vast majority of the Marvel Universe, the game was a tribute to the classic golden age of comic books, just before Kirby and Lee were at the height of their creative powers. The golden age refers to comic books from the 1930s through the 1950s, when such Marvel (back then known as Timely Comics) characters as Captain America, the Submariner and the Human Torch were created. Now, two years later, Freedom Force is back with a sequel.
