The staff over at Grimwell Online have unveiled this rather mediocre, non-rated review of AO: Alien Invasion...

Alien Invasion offers a whole new type of gameplay (and a corresponding treadmill) for current players with an active guild. Unfortunately, this expansion does not have much to offer solo players or entice new players. In order to enjoy Alien Invasion, a new or returning player will need to invest several hours to learn a new interface, upgrade their equipment, and join an active guild. I do not expect Alien Invasion to bring many new players to Rubi-Ka, particularly with the intense competition among MMOGs this year.

As a consumer, I feel that Anarchy Online's low subscription numbers are a just punishment for Funcom's shoddy programming and poor testing. The game still suffers from serious bugs, an inefficient client, and balance issues. Heckler XP (so high that many players see no other content) is the most widespread problem
