Another LotR: The Third Age review is online but this time for the PS2 version at GameMainFrame. The score is 8.6/10 and here's a grab:
Lord of the Rings was an epic in theaters, scoring some 11 Academy Awards in it's last movie. The games, on the other hand, were considered somewhat of a curse, each game never seemed to deliver what the public was looking for. Does the Third Age break this curse? follows a Gondorian soldier and an elf in the forest of Lorien who quickly join forces to eradicate an orc threat in the area (Orcs being the evil minions that plague Middle-Earth). Soon they are joined by new individuals willing to fight in the wake of the more known Fellowship of the Ring, each of these individuals ready to fight and die.
