Morrowind quite simply a masterpiece i know it can be a bit buggy at times but does anyone really care. The graphics are the best i have seen in an RPG so far (besides KOTOR)and everything in it is fun to collecting better items and stealing and just doing anything you want IT RULES!!!!!!!1 |

The Morrowind was a great RPG. The sequel to the Morrowind, the Oblivion is the same type of play as in the Morrowind and is more detailed. It has been improved on every aspect. |

This is the best rpg ever. simply the most clever and captivating story line and with so many unpredictable twists and turns.

Played this game back in high school, so that probably dates me. Took me months of playing on my Commodore64 before I beat it without the help of internet forums. Still got the notebook I used to map makes and take notes!
I've played a lot of games since then, games that looked better and games that I really enjoyed, but nothing will compare to that game. It had everything a great RPG should have; strategy, tactics, interactive dialog, plot twists and turns. Also it was well paced with it's quests, I never got board or dispaired of figuring the game out.
All this on 8bit hardware and 64 kilobytes of memory!
This game is highly underrated, and deserves to be much higher on the list. |
