Okay, so there was a lot of fuss going about when this game was announced. It’s Final Fantasy but it’s a massively multiplayer online RPG. Long time fans were concerned that it would not be true to the long running series that birthed it. Well, it’s been out in Japan since last year, and just recently hit the states. After countless (and I mean countless) hours with the game, we’re here to give you our impressions. To be truthful, it may have the Final Fantasy title, but it really is largely a departure from the series roots. There are hints of the magic of Final Fantasy’s many worlds and creatures, but it’s all done in the vein of a true MMORPG, like Everquest or all the others.
