David Gaider, formerly on the BG 2 team and now working on Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, has been answering questions at The Dragon's Breath Tavern. Most of the questions deal with Neverwinter Nights, and there is no new info about Star Wars: KotOR. Anyhow - here's a question and an answer from David:

    4. Now that Neverwinter Nights is almost finished and that Bioware is engaged on the Knights of The Old Republic (by the way, the most impressive game I saw last E3)... Won't you miss doing Dungeons & Dragons-based games?

Yes and No. There's a lot of good things when you're working with a license like Dungeons & Dragons, but also a lot of restrictions, as well. It's nice to move onto other types of games. I kind of like the fantasy genre, myself...I hope to return to it in the future.
