Nemesis of the Roman Empire was a bit of a new experience for me. Not particularly a devout fan of RTS games (my Starcraft addicted friends looked at me as if I were a social outcast for not joining them on their 24/7 marathons), I approached Nemesis of the Roman Empire with a bit of trepidation. Coming from a casual RTS gamers’ perspective, admittedly about the only RTS game I’ve actually enjoyed was Battle Realms by Ubi Soft and this was mainly due to its simple learning curve and ease of play. Nevertheless I gave Nemesis the benefit of the doubt and gave it a try.
