Star Wars Galaxies has been reviewed at Adrenaline Vault. It's quite a detailed article though the tone is more positive than the final score of 2.5/5 stars would suggest. The relatively slow pace of gameplay and the lack of space/vehicles which are central to Star Wars seems to have hurt the score:
That said, I’m still finding the addiction factor stronger than EverQuest, which I played fanatically for around two years. Even without the promise of vehicles and space travel, the robust social element and the fully rounded player-driven content is enough to make Galaxies stand on its own. Not that there hasn’t been a host of anomalies and glitches (like my random teleport to the center of Corellia when I tried to sit on a lawn chair in my groups camp), but from what I’ve seen firsthand, Galaxies is less bug-riddled than most MMORPGs on the market. I’m enjoying the game in spite of myself, but even still, LucasArts shouldn’t have released it without at least including land vehicles, if not interstellar flight. Star Wars has always been a 50/50 mix of alien worlds and gripping space battles, and Galaxies is currently missing half of that equation.
