Take Morroiwnd for example (I know you were waiting for this one). To create a demo, the game would have to be cut down DRAMATICALLY. Well, the game features the entire island, and in a demo, that is a no no. A small PIECE of the island would have to be REMADE and REPOPULATED. Basically, we would have to handcraft a complete new game. Just no time or staff available for that. I would LOVE to create a demo, and it MAY still be done, I just have no idea how and when. I think a lot of other game develpers have this very same problem. The more content that goes into games, the more difficult demos become.
