It can be downloaded from the website of German gaming TV station Giga. The self-extracting executable weighs in at 90.65MB. Even though Neocron is an MMORPG, this is an offline demo. You are CityAdmin Agent Parker who wakes up from a comatose sleep 700 years after the apocalypse. The first part of the demo is a tutorial that takes you step-by-step through the controls. After that you'll be given a few quests like finding the parts of a missile launcher, clearing the sewers from a rat plague and helping the police fight a bunch of assassins. All enemies and NPCs are CPU controlled bots. Update: My download just finished and I tried to install the demo. If you get the same huge error screen in Windows XP that I did, just click "OK", and exit setup. The installer will start automatically when you exit the CDV launcher.
