Vanguard Players has an interview with newly-appointed Senior Producer, Travis Williamd at Sigil Games Online. Here's the opening:
Vanguard Players: Hello and welcome, Travis! You helped write Werewolf: The Apocalypse as a pen & paper RPG for White Wolf and were later asked to produce it as a video game for ASC. Even though the game didn't work out for ASC, it must have been quite an experience to get a chance to bring Werewolf "to life." What was this like for you?
Travis: Working on electronic versions of pen and paper games is both a boon and a curse. It's a boon because you know the material really well and you don't have to do research for things you made up personally. The curse is that sometimes the die hard fans don't understand the limitations of the genre you work in and why you decided to cut features or powers. Working on Werewolf was really fun. The most exciting part was seeing your creations come to life. I wish everyone could see the opening cinematic to our Werewolf game. It was sooooo awesome. Too bad ASC went out of business before we could release it. One of these days a Werewolf game will be made. |
