RPGDot Game Rating Machine

Ralph has rated the following games:

Anachronox: 5/10 points

This is a bad attempt at console RPG. I love CRPGs (Final Fantasy, Xenogears, etc.), but Anachronox does not even come close. An extremely simple/boring character system is the biggest flaw of this game. Combat is VERY repetative, and it happens often. The lame plot did not give much motivation either. Only the humor in the game kept it from becoming a complete dud.

Arcanum - Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura: 7/10 points

Great concept, mediocre execution. Some of the design decisions in this game just made no sense at all. The low level cap ensured that if you recruit NPCs late in the game, they will NEVER level up! Guns were completely unbalanced with the looking-glass rifle being far superior to all other weapons. Etc. Overall, just not as good as it could have been.

Fallout - A Post Nuclear Adventure: 10/10 points

So, why isnt there a Fallout 3?

Fallout 2: 10/10 points

Currently the best PC RPG I have ever played. The unique character system puts FO2 far above all other RPGs IMHO. I can't wait for FO3.

Fallout 2: 10/10 points

So, why isnt there a Fallout 3?

Planescape: Torment: 8/10 points
