Here's how it starts: One of the cornerstones of Atriarch's gameplay is encouraging the player to make the world their own. For a player to be more than just sight-seeing character, it is key that players are given the opportunity to alter the world, environment, and politics in a meaningful way. One of the ways Atriarch encourages players to put their mark in the world is by offering the player a chance to build their own structures and cities... not just a stock building, but to actually put a unique style and layout to it. The use of Atrian building blocks puts this powerful feature into the hands of the players while still maintaining performance necessary for online gameplay. You can see a couple of screenshots from these blocks, too.
