PC.IGN has posted a 'World of Warcraft' Beta Uber-Update article, bringing readers up to speed on the latest additions to the WoW beta:
Blizzard entered a new phase of the World of Warcraft beta yesterday, adding a Player-versus-Player (PvP) server, a few greatly overhauled areas, and a slew of character, visual, sound adjustments and bug fixes. "Player versus Player" is probably better described as "faction versus faction," as you could originally duel your fellow WoW players, with their consent. However, until now, you could not attack one of the members of the "Horde" races (which consist of orcs, trolls, taurens, and the undead) unless you agreed to a one-on-one duel. Now, factions can fight each other in groups, instead of individually, and control territory that's divided into zones.
