As we explored the recent build, the most immediately impressive aspect of the game is the visual design, which boasts a mixture of relatively static backgrounds, 3D characters and sumptuous cutscenes. Though one early scene shows off the steampunk sense of mechanical design that pervaded Syberia, most of what we've experienced showed off a much more realistic sense of place.
