What are your influences for this game?

The Roots mixes some Japanese RPGs elements with a quite visible European approach. As of Japanese RPGs influence we have always enjoyed titles like Final Fantasy (series), Grandia or Wild Arms. Those, and a few other games, have inspired us. The game world itself is more one of those found in western RPGs – it can be compared to Tolkien’s fantasy worlds.
