RPG Vault has conducted a Savage Eden interview with two staff from Nako who developed the original Laghaim for the Koream market and a representative from iEntertainment who publish the game in the US:
Jonric: What kind of online world is Savage Eden, and what will it offer that's fresh and different compared to other online worlds?

Jung-won Seo: I think there is a definite difference in the goals that Eastern online games and Western ones are pursuing. There are also differences among the various existing online games. Ours is an Eastern style one that supports the growth of each player, and we have adopted a large-scale guild system that helps users gather as one society by imposing no limitation on the number of members.

LadyGM: Most of all, what Savage Eden can provide to North American users is gameplay full of tiny and interesting pleasures. One very interesting aspect of this game is the creation of pets that players can buy and raise. The pet can help its owner by aiding in battle or collecting items that are dropped.
