Another positive endorsement for the Xbox version of Deus Ex: Invisible War with RealGamer handing down a score of 8/10 in their review:The game gives the player the choice of which path to take through the game with the WTO and the Order Church both seemingly desperate to acquire your services. One of the best features of Deus Ex: Invisible War is that you are free to complete whatever missions you like. There’s no picking one path and sticking to it rigidly, you can swap sides as often as you like or follow the orders from just one faction. If you complete a mission that contradicts the interests of one faction you will find them very willing to give you another chance, although they may send the odd character to take you out every once in a while. Although the gameplay seems pretty open, the missions from rivalling factions will often have you travelling to the same places and the only real difference between the two being what action you take at the decisive point. |
