Horizon Vaults newest feature is a Developer Profile, this time with Matthew Burroughs. Heres a quick snippet from the profile that can be found right here:

Ulairi: How do you design the world? Do you have any strict guidelines to follow? Or are you given free range? Both?

Matthew: Obviously there are some guidelines. A human step needs to be small enough for a human to actually step up. Doors need to be big enough for whatever race would have built it. One thing that drew me to work for Artifact Entertainment is that we do have quite a bit of free range when it comes to the modeling. Concept art plays a big part in the inspiration, but details are left up to the individual world designer. A lot of ideas get tossed around and there is an incredibly creative team with a vast array of tricks up their sleeve to making killer dungeons. Quite a bit of that translates to the cities as well, since each race has such a different “feel” to it.
