"Goodbye, Lineage2!", "Canceled my World of Warcraft Preorder, ordered Guild Wars" are some of players' thoughts from the first few hours of the public alpha test for Guild Wars which began on 11th of May, one day earlier than Arena.net and NCsoft first announced. So big was the impact of this test which lasted four days, that a few hours before its finish the fan-site forums were full of requests to prolong it at least until Sunday night, 16th of May.
