Our reader Saluk just informed us that Project Entropia will enter the commerical trial May 20th. To read the complete announcement, head over to the official site. Here's just a bit about what "commercial trial" means:
    COMMERCIAL OPEN TRIAL
The phase that Project Entropia is in right now is the "Commercial Open Trial". The focus of this phase is on the economy system, currency transactions and item management, and to some extent, in-game balancing. The phase is not presenting the complete Project Entropia universe. This is the foundation.

Update will automatically upgrade your game client when these updates become available, so you, the user, won't have to track them down.
The term "economy system" does, in this phase, not primarily apply to the in-game economy in Project Entropia, but to the physical economy systems in regards to servers, software, credit card handling and transactions.
The previous phases have been a great success and have constantly expanded into new areas. We have traced down many bugs, found several glitches and taken action to correct these issues. You, as a free-of-mind willing participant, must think that every time you experience difficulties within the Project Entropia environment, be it login trouble, graphic cards glitches, lost items, being stuck in walls or whatever, you have tested the system and you have done your task well.
Participation in the Commercial Open Trial is purely voluntarily and the terms have been accurately presented in your NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement).
