ok... but with the horrible graphics and basic combat...The best part about it though is your ability to log out quickly to keep the game from prying parent's eyes. Star Wars Galaxies is LOADS better. |

Runescape, at first sight, is a horrible game. The graphics are too simple, its not full-screen, the music is comparable to a phone's ringtones, and the combat is rather basic with very little control. However, its not all about the first look. Runescape's gameplay (it takes about half an hour to an hour to finally understand it), the gameplay is remarkably good. The cartoony unrealistic figures and lame quests make it a little light (not as realistic or as dark as other RPGs), however all within in the medeval sphere (there's dwarves, elves, smithys, etc). All in all, its very addicting, and if you get over the initial "bad cover" (of the book) and dont judge the gameplay by it, its actually a very entertaining game. There's tons of stuff to do, a load of skills, plenty of monsters, a fair number of quests, and enough players to actually keep yourself from being lonely (but there's plenty of places you can go to be lonely - if that's what you like)! I'd definately recommend Runescape. There's some very good websites to help you play it (as it gets complicated at times), like www.zybez.com and www.runescapecommunity.com |

The graphics suck. The interface is awful and only seems to work in IE. Most of the areas are made HORRIBLY annoying to non-paying users. Most of the people that I've run into while playing were rude and obnoxious.
There's a LOT of better free MMORPG's, and if you want to pay monthly for one, the quality goes up substantially.

Runescape is entertaining for a little while, but it degenerates into a clickfest in a few hours. I gave it a 3 because it looked like they at least tried to make a decent game |

nice game but it has its draw backs after lvl100 it becomes extremely tough to lvl up and scamming is incredibly simple (i personaly get 20-30 accounts weekly)-- once you reach about lvl-70 you will either have to quit your job or use trainers -- the trainers i have build for this game took less than 20 minutes each and i have them distributed on my web site with 2600+ downloads so obviously this gave has a lot of people who cheat -- i only know of 2 other item duplicatore becides the one that i support which has over 800 users alone -- other than the cheaters this game has some of the best quests i have seen in any game, graphics i would give a 6,5 and overall gameplay would get an 8 -- combat is slow but enemies spawn fast so there are plenty to kill compaired to other games -- skills there is less than 50 skills so i would personally give the skills a 4 because i like games who offer lots of room for inprovment but this is my oppinion, lag is a big issue on free worlds buy not an issue on members servers so the game speed would be a 9 because i play on members - other than that its a really good game for anyone who is starting to get into RPGs because its incredibly simple to learn and it does not have the complexity of a professional game |

Horrible, it's extermly repetitive and boring and not to mention that almost eveyone you meet wants to kill you and take your stuff and if you don't do what they say than they'll report you a hundred times. |

Rune at a first glance is horrible. Then when you try it, it actually does sucks! The combat is very, very basic. You basiclly pick Melle, Ranged, and Magic for combat. The graphics look like someone grab a bunch of pixels and just threw them all together. The sound is horrible, expecially the combat sound. The coummunity, while extreamlly large, contains way too many griefers. Also the content is very dry. The quest, while alot which every MMO nneds, are very repetitive and boring. Though while all said, the game is addicting. It's one of those game that are just horrible, but you just want to like it!
Overall: This game is rubbish, but addicting.

Gameplay:6.5 out of 10

I rate it a 2.. The customer support is very very poor, your account get's hacked which happend to me, a lvl 93 hardworking member, and when your recovery answers and password changes and you submitt a request and deny you what is the point of playing it, the screen is too little it hurts your eyes, they whine and moan if you type to fast calling it spam when peopels accounts are getting hacked and they could care less... Play eternal lands Www.Eternal-lands.com and look at this game different races to pick from a lot I mean a lot better graphics for a little 20mg download.. |

i think this game has ten for everything eccept graphics i give them a 4.Aguy i read said play enternal lands.i reccomend u dont cause it sucks and u have to download.I give runscape ten cause it has lots of improvement space and the quests keep u intertained.I like knowing that as im lvl 17 there is still lots to go and lots to see and do as ive havnt even explored a quater of the map yet.THIS GAME RULES |
