Gothic: 10/10 points What a surprise! I really love taking a chance on a new and relatively unknown game and getting my socks knocked off. Sheesh this game has a great feel, good storyline, great combat, real flexibility (like luring carnivorous dinosaurs into a crowde marketplace). Worth the money, worth the time. Quest for Glory 1 - So You Want to be a Hero?: 9/10 points When I first played it on the Amiga (1988?), it was extremely absorbing. Good character development, good puzzles, good (for its time) combat. A really enjoyable challenge. Thief - The Dark Project: 10/10 points Great game from the guys who gave us System Shock. A welcome break from the normal RPG or adventure game.
