Despite the third person view, this is still a role-playing game at heart, with lots of stats that you can develop, experience to be gained, and quests to be undertaken. Other RPG staples are also present, like mana for magical energy. There are definitely some action elements to the game, though, like the third person view and a combo system for melee attacks.
