Gaming Community Votes Yes on Funding MMO

The Frontier 1859 community, which has been steadily growing in the number of participants over the last couple years has come together to respond to a recent poll to determine if optioning Membership Tiers would be a viable option to raise full-production funding.

"It is interesting to realize that the community is getting excited about an idea where they each can play a role in helping the virtual world get to market" says project Director and Studio Founder, Daniel McMillan, "it says a lot about how people are willing to get involved to bring to market a project they believe in. Who knows, it could usher in a new dynamic to the role they play in publishing."

While the Poll is just one of several ideas that is being run by the community for feedback, people from all walks of life are reacting very positive, and have written a number of letters in response to Frontier 1859 being developed as an experience "where player actions affect and change something about the world around them."
