3DGPU has posted a review of Freelancer. Their summary:
Right down to it, Freelancer is an enjoyable and fun game, if you can look past the lack of joystick support. You get plenty of gameplay for your money, and plenty of replayability with the open-ended universe, and of course, the multiplayer. I’m glad to say I wasn’t disappointed, and that’s saying a lot since Chris Roberts wasn’t part of the game. If he had been, would the game have been better? Possibly, but when you get right down to it, the game is fun and all the time spent making the game, hasn’t gone all utterly to waste, which can’t be said for some other games (*cough*Unreal2*cough*).
Their overall rating is 8/10.
