After GameSpot's brickbat comes a bouquet for Ryzom with Gamer.com whipping up a rather positive review, although there's no score:
The market is drowning in fantasy worlds covered in Halfling Rogues and Dwarf Paladins. Ryzom's original blend of fantasy and sci-fi make for one of the most immersive and unique worlds we have ever had to pleasure to get lost in. The graphics and sound are also well above standard, making this world seem to jump out around you. Characters are easily customized, making a very complex and deep system easy to grasp. Some bugs are still being worked on, but the primary game functions nearly flawlessly. Saga of Ryzom is exactly what the MMORPG community needed.
