The rumor apparently originates from a date change at EB Games who now list 'EverQuest II' as shipping on November 8. While retailer info may not always be accurate when a game is months away from release, it usually tends to be *very* accurate when release is approaching. HomeLAN contacted SOE but they would not comment on a possible earlier release. Since Blizzard's 'World of Warcraft' and 'EverQuest II' were originally scheduled for the same week, it would definitely not be too surprising if one of the companies would pull a quicker launch to beat the other contender as these two titles are inarguably the two major MMORPG releases this fall/winter. We shall wait and see...
