If you're not a BiosFear player you're probably not aware of what's been going on between that European MMORPG and its USA competitor, Savage Eden. Both games are translated versions of the Korean game, Laghaim. Well, Savage Eden has been offering BiosFear customers a way to transfer their accounts to their own servers. Both games have different publishers and do not share any customer data, so in order to do a character transfer from BiosFear, a Savage Eden employee asks for the new player's BiosFear credentials so he can see the character's stats and equipment, and then create a new character on the Savage Eden with all the same stuff.

Well, clever players have been taking advantage of the transfer and asking their buddies to lend them their best equipment so when their toons end up on Savage Eden they're better off than they were in BiosFear. Problem is, many items have mysteriously gone missing from the BiosFear characters, leaving the toons who lent the items quite unhappy. It should go without saying that giving your BiosFear credentials to a third party is a violation of the game's terms of service, so the items are not being restored.

Anyway, BiosFear has now tattled on Savage Eden to the Korean developers of the original game, and is hoping their improper and aggressive behaviors will stop.
As we promised you we have tried to contact SE about the transfers they are offering - unfortunately without any success. After this didnīt bring us any further Ellen had contacted koreans about this topic. They were very disappointed about the illegal things SE is doing and will now take over that case. They will deal with it as Ellen hasnīt received any answer.

Still we want to warn you: Donīt give your account data to SE, some items were reported as missed, even some chars were completely deleted. We canīt help you (and are not allowed to) if you have passed your data on to third parties.
