Graphically the game more than casually resembles Dark Cloud 2, aesthetically. While the character art style is less typically anime, the world and monsters very much resemble the landscape of DC2. The game's music is also highly reminiscient of DC2's -- a mixture of pleasant, tinkling and lilting tunes that should accompany adventure just fine. As you begin your adventure, you'll start out in your character's own home. You can decorate this home in a sort of Animal Crossing-ish way, with different furniture you can obtain in the game. Unlike AC, though, it's a way more extensive house, and one that you can continuously upgrade and redecorate. Each town in the game will have residential sections, although users' individual houses won't appear -- though you'll be able to invite your friends over if you want to show off your swanky goods.
