Lionheart Item Feature 11
2003-08-06
Lionheart is a computer role playing game that is being developed by Reflexive Entertainment in conjunction with Black Isle Studios. The game is an original title which uses an updated version of the SPECIAL character development system (from Fallouts 1 and 2) in a quasi-historical medieval Europe. Lionheart diverges from traditional high fantasy by placing the player on Earth in the 16th century in which history has taken a different path and magic has been released upon the world. Using a mix of historical and fictional locations and characters, the player progresses through a deep story while advancing through the classless character system.
In this new series of articles, designers of the game will introduce several items from the game
|
Sacred Scimitar
One-Handed, 2-11 Slashing Damage. Forged from the sweat and steel of the finest craftman of the Middle East, the Sacred Scimitar embodies the spirit and pride of a desert people. The blade also resonates with the hopes and dreams of thousands upon thousands of souls. This presence permeates whomever wields it, increasing critical chance by 5% and increasing piercing resistance by 10. |
|
Amulet of the Dead of Night and Lava Burn
A favorite among thieves, amulets such as this give 15 points to its wearer's Sneak skill, 10 to Lockpick and increases Poison Resistance by 20%. In addition, the magics of the amulet will inflict 1-3 points of fire damage to any enemy within melee range of the character. |
|
Helm of Focused Logic and the Sylvant
Rare helms such as this grant the wearer 4 skill points in One-Handed and Two-Handed Melee skills and is enchanted to grant an additional 1 point to Armor Class. It also gives 1 point of Intelligence, which is quite a boon indeed. If the wearer is a Sylvant, it gives an additional 4 skill points in their Unarmed skill and adds an additional 3 points to Armor Class. |
