Game's Press has released a review of Sierra's Arcanum - Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura. The final rating is 7/10, and their conclusion isn't too positive either:

I have to be honest here. I just can’t get into the game as much as I would like to. The concept sounded so good, the graphics look pretty good, and I thought the intro was pretty cool. But for some reason I just can’t get my mind around the story as well as I would have liked to. Don’t let that turn you off. If the game sounds good to you, I’d recommend it. I am just having a little trouble with the interface. Another thing, of course this is all my fault, I have been playing Diablo 2 so much that I have forgotten rule 1 of playing CRPG’s. Save and Save often!!! You need to do this, I have gone back and had to complete whole quests a couple of times because I forgot to save. I like the game, but it just hasn’t captured me like other games have. But all and all it is a good game with a good story.
